Covering an Old Tattoo with a Full Rib Dragon and Peony Design

This dragon and peony tattoo was created by Lan Pink for an international female client. It is not only a new design for the rib area, but also an old tattoo cover-up for a piece that had faded and no longer looked the way the client wanted. Instead of continuing to retouch the old design, the client wanted to transform the entire area with a larger piece, more striking colors, and a stronger expression of her personality.

Minimalist Lettering Tattoos with a Delicate Peanuts Comic on the Forearm

A minimalist lettering tattoo may consist of only a short sentence, but making those words sit naturally on the body while preserving their intended character requires careful thought. The font, size, spacing, placement, and even the way the lettering appears as the arm moves can all affect the final result. For this project, an international client chose two quotes and a favorite Peanuts comic panel for his forearm. He was so happy with his first tattoo that he decided to return to Lan Pink Tattoo for three more. Each design carries its own meaning, yet all of them follow the same direction: subtle, personal, visible when he wants them to be, and easy to cover when necessary.
