This dragon and peony tattoo was created by Lan Pink for an international female client. It is not only a new design for the rib area, but also an old tattoo cover-up for a piece that had faded and no longer looked the way the client wanted. Instead of continuing to retouch the old design, the client wanted to transform the entire area with a larger piece, more striking colors, and a stronger expression of her personality.

A minimalist lettering tattoo may consist of only a short sentence, but making those words sit naturally on the body while preserving their intended character requires careful thought. For this project, an international client chose two quotes and a favorite Peanuts comic panel for his forearm. He was so happy with his first tattoo that he decided to return to Lan Pink Tattoo for three more.
